Do I Have The Money?

I told her that I wanted to know if I should stop for a while and open a practice or if I should go straight to graduate school for my masters degree psychology. She told me that it would be in my best interest to explore my finances before I made a decision like that. I told her to tell me what she meant. She told me that I should talk such a major decision over with my parents. Make sure that I have enough money to start my own practice. She told me that was the first step. What now?
