Trying to Find the Best Way to Consolidate Debt

My wife and I have come to conclusion that we need to find a way to consolidate debt. We have way too many credit cards and they are all maxed out. The fact that they are all maxed out causes the interest rate to increase. I don’t quit understand the wonderful world of credit. The people that need the most help pay the most for it. We have got to get these bills paid off and learn to live without the use of these credit cards. It will be hard but we simply must do it. I have read about people that have consolidated their bills and managed to pay them off in just a few years.
