Why Is Credit Card Debt So Common?

So many individuals are stuck with tons of Credit Card Debt due to reckless spending and a lack of clear ideas on how to pay down their credit card bills. Unfortunately many people are offered credit cards with high limits and then they just go crazy and spend as much money as possible. That is not the point of having a credit card. In fact, credit cards should only be used if you really need to because when you incur lots of debt you end up paying so much more for the items you purchase due to high rates of interest but come along with the cards.
