High Knees To Improve Vertical Jump

An exercise that you can run without any equipment to increase vertical jump is high knees. In high knees you run down a long distance like a basketball court with your knees shooting into the air. Every time you step your other knee as high as you can in the air. This will strain your muscles if you have not done it before. Make sure that when you jump you move as fast as you can, but do not cover a lot of distance per every step. You want to get in as many repetitions as you can whenever you are doing high knees.
