A Music Tax

Canada might get music tax for downloads and this is making for some very unhappy people. If this tax does take place then the cost per track would go up and would possibly turn people to go to filesharing programs. Canada is wanting to implement the tax to pay record labels for the illegal piracy that is taking place around the globe. This really does seem to be a catch 22, the tax would be implemented to help pay for some of the piracy taking place, but companies think that this would turn people to peer to peer filesharing programs instead.
