Apple’s funny new ads

Apple has gained from a new T-mobile ad to promote apps on the Android platform. Specifically, it was one app in particular that had a doppelganger in the app store which actually ended up seeing more downloads. You may remember the iSteam app that was released way back says the new iPhone 3g cases. The app debuted to a very receptive audience and quickly sold over 200,000 copies. Since then, downloads have slowed but after seeing the T-Mobile ads out there. I think this was good for Apple. Even tho they didnt really want all these ads from them from now.
