Golf Course in the Pyrenees Orientales, Languedoc

I was recently introduced to a fantastic golf course in the South of France. Domain de Falgas is an exhilarating course set up in the mountains in the department of the Pyrenees Orientals, Languedoc. At around 3,500 metres above sea level you really do have a sense of being up in the mountains and close to the heavens.
The course itself seems quite simple but that is deceptive. If you hit the ball straight you should stay out of trouble but he course is quite narrow and if you hook the ball either side of the fairway you can easily find yourself in trouble. I have to admit to losing a lot of balls. You can miss the fairway by just ten foot but have a hard time finding your ball. Nevertheless a great day out.
